Sharon Chappell, a Team Member at The Regent Bingo Club Spalding received her 21 year service award, which was also poignant as she remains away from work following the fire that caused a huge amount of damage to the Club. To make sure she didn’t miss out, Michael Norbury, General Manager, invited the whole team to a family fun day at their local park to present the award to Sharon.
2000 was also clearly a special year at the Globe Bingo Club Donnington, as both Paula Boddison (Team Member) and Julie Stevens (Assistant Manager) both joined that year, making 21 years’ service.
Judges Bingo Club in Tonypandy, South Wales, is clearly the place to be as Dan Beazer and Justin Williams (Assistant Managers), and Jenna Ford (Team Member), all celebrated their 10 year anniversaries with the company. The three worthy recipients are no stranger to the camera as they all featured in the BBC Wales TV show ‘Full House’ that aired in 2020.
Commenting on the latest awards, James Taylor, HR Director, Majestic Bingo said ‘Our long service awards are a great way to thank our team for their hard work and commitment to Majestic. For three of the team in one Club to hit the milestone is amazing. Whilst we wouldn’t usually formally celebrate 21 years, we felt it was particularly important to do so with the year matching the length of service, and with 21 being the ‘key of the door’, we thought we just had to do it! Maybe next year we’ll do ‘two little ducks’ for anyone hitting a 22 year milestone in 2022’.
